ABOUT

Storytelling.
At the start...fiction writing and theatre scripts, in my teens, obsessed with the visual elegance and rich narrative found in French and Japanese animation. While I had been working creatively as a pastime for many years, I came to realize that working to bring narrative alive through imagery was indeed a true calling. With not a little anxiety, but much excitement, I moved to Los Angeles from my native Iran to follow a dream. Since arriving in Southern California, I've been incredibly fortunate to work with and learn from many amazing artists who have influenced and inspired me, including Tron Mai, Jay Oliva, Marshall Vandruff, Steven Silver, and Matt Jones.
In 2020, I achieved a significant milestone by being one of a select group of students accepted into UCLA's School of Film and Television's Animation program. It was a turning point in my life, a validation of my passion, and an opportunity to grow artistically. I recently completed my BFA with honors, a moment I'm truly proud of.
While I've had the chance to work on various freelance projects, I'm now eager to take the next step in my career. I'm excited about the prospect of joining a team and collaborating to create innovative visual content. My journey has been filled with challenges and triumphs, and I'm ready to bring my unique perspective and storytelling skills to help bring fresh narratives to life through visual art.
